Chooka, 16-year-old improv piano genius – from the middle of nowhere in Australia

I found this through a blog by Doug Fraley, a blog entitled “slumberfogey,” and upon watching the following video, I thought of one of the categories here, which Nick included some time ago - the category “I would miss.”

I thought it would be fun to share this:

A bit about the blogger:

Nick (along with some others here), you might discover some affinity with the blogger, Doug Fraley.  I found his blog by searching for some more about Tim Palmer and his work with fractals.  With that search, I happened upon this post by Fraley, Give me real chaos over complex indeterminacy, which again picks up the discussion of determinism and free will in the context of quantum physics, fractals, and the like.  He’s simply another lay person interested in such things, but I did find his post helpful.

It was in reading his “about me” page, however, that I thought of you in particular (his take does put a more positive spin on things than you have been known to do, granted, ;-); nevertheless, I could see several things in his write-up on this page that seem to chime with some things you’ve often discussed regarding consciousness and the like)… you might want to check him out and see what you think…
