Nick, again a lot of information from you, thanks.

If I am correct the last few years the oil consumption in (net) oil exporting is increasing (in absolute numbers) faster then worldwide oil production is increasing. So, the last few years worldwide (net) oil export is already declining.
A lot of people in the peakoilworld ‘believe’ this ‘trend’ will persist in the coming years.

Below a graph about net oil exports (till 2009)

Yes, that is a nice chart.
That last `little` House of Saud give-away, I think, has shown that they are now more afraid of their own people than the CIA. They will need more money….and for that money to stay in the Kingdom (and the people will burn more oil).

This will be repeated by all exporters, trying to keep the people happy.

Ah well, if God is going to intervene then it’s time to short the oil market…. mmm, I but I better not be too hasty as God often moves in mysterious ways!
I don’t think God’s going to bother doing anything as he is ending the world on the 21st May (around 6pm).

The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away…????

      • Anonymous

Yeah, but on the 21st May he’s getting a bit carried away with the ‘taketh away’ part!

We will all have to get Jebus to have a word in his old shell-like.

Nah, praying won’t help…. Listen to George Carling at 5:30 on this link talking about the divine plan….

Whole clip is quite good too, it will probably appeal…….

Yeah, its a bit confusing this religion stuff… of only it were as nice and simple as economics!

    • Stevo

He’d better pray to an Islamic God.

Well I believe they are not quite on speaking terms… something about one god having more oil than the other.

    • Lyle

We’re on Eastern Daylight Savings Time… does that mean we’ll be 3 hours early or have to wait until 9 PM?
These things can be so confusing.

Never realised what oil guzzlers the Canadians are. 34 million population and eighth on the list.

    • CSArichardo

It’s cold here in Canada! We need alot of energy just to survive.

We also use alot of energy (nat gas) to produce energy (oil) for export … so if we subtracted how much energy we use to produce energy for export it would be alot lower. I think that this statistic is therefore being misused as statistics often are.

  • Stevo

And when oil exporting countries can no longer consume their own oil reserves they resort to drug cartels to plug the gap i.e. Mexico

I see the Mystic’s hat is on a jaunty angle, this is usually an indication of trouble for the US dollar…
